These Electro-Motive desk models
are of 16-645E1 Roots blower type engines, skid mounted with AC
electric generators. Approximate period of construction was from
the 1970s to the 1990s, they are of molded plaster construction,
in 1:48 scale. They have a curious mistake, the engines all have
turbocharger oil filters at the rear of the right bank of cylinders.
These filters were not used on EMD Roots blower engines.
